We are a K-5 school with approximately 274 students. We have an amazing loving staff who are passionate about learning and building community in their classrooms and in our school.
To our new students, welcome! We are looking forward to getting to know you and your family. To our returning students, we all hope that you had an amazing break and are looking forward to seeing you and hearing all of your stories! With November now here many wonderful things come to mind. Our students are settled into their classrooms and our teachers are undertaking a variety of assessments to gauge and promote student learning. Our children are showing growth in terms of demonstrating Safety, Outstanding Effort, Achievement and Respect, and when I visit our classrooms, I notice students making strong decisions and demonstrating powerful listening, speaking, reading, writing, and numeracy skills. I continue to be impressed with the hard work and dedication both by our staff and our parents that take place each day in our building. You may have seen me or Mrs. Padgham outside at the front of the building greeting parents, please do not hesitate to stop and have a conversation or ask any questions you may be wondering. McCammon is truly a terrific place to learn!
